Limp Bizkit Play First Show without Late Bassist Sam Rivers
35+ min ago (303+ words) Stepping in on bass was Kid Not (real name Richie Buxton), who is a songwriting partner and producer for one of the tour's opener Ecca Vandal, an Australian singer-songwriter and rapper. During the performance Limp paid tribute to Rivers with a video compilation of performance highlights of Rivers, watching the video along with the audience as it happened. As it ended, the surviving members of the band hugged each other in remembrance of Rivers. Talk about heartbreaking. Just before the show, the band's drummer John Otto shared an online statement about playing for the first time without Rivers, and yes, it's a gut punch. "Today is going to be tough. A first I never wanted to experience. Especially not now. "You've been there for so many major firsts in my life. Some of my earliest memories were made with you....

The plaintiffs are leveling a wide range of complaints against the defendants, including copyright infringement, misappropriation of likenesses in merchandise, defamation, unjust enrichment, unpaid royalties for live shows and past albums, unauthorized use of copyrighted works, among other charges. You may recall that back in August, Federoff quit the band while they were mid-tour.
